Board Games Nights
Held in the Math Club room
on a monthly basis starting at 19:00, our
board games nights feature lots of fun board games, good company, and free pizza. Games nights
during the summers are less regular, so be sure to sign up to the mailing list to find out when they happen.
The Math Club Lecture Series
A fun polymath-type (open topic) lecture series run by students for students, the MCLS

the MCLS page.
Directly following the MCLS, the Math Club room is open for free tea and cookies every

Open House Sushi Luncheons
Yes, that's right -- more free food! Kicking off every winter semester, the Math Club holds
an open house featuring lots of complimentary sushi, veggie platters, faces new and old, and
a good way to get introduced to the Club. The most recent one was on September 17, 2009 at 13:00.
Happining on a monthly basis, Math Club storms an arbitrarily-chosen member of the set of local pubs (typically Koerner's). Good times, good math,
bzzr, yam fries, and pub games. 19+, bring your ID.
Squirt Gun Murder
Run in collaboration/competetion with the Physics Society and the Biophysics Society once a term,
the Math Club stands undefeated at ninja squirt gunning!
Day of the Longboat and Storm the Wall
Conquer the seas and vanquish the wall with the Math Club! Announcements for intramural
opportunities are posted to our mailing list.
Year End Formal
Who doesn't love an excuse to dress up? Carrying on our success of last year's boat cruise, this year
we're joining forces with the Physsoc to host a year-end formal on April 10, 2010 at 6PM, at the University Golf Course.
The Math Department, with help with from the Math Club, organises a number of events
for undergraduates every year, including:
The Undergraduate Mathematics Colloquium
Running fortnightly on Wednesdays from 15:00 to 16:00 in GEOG 214, the UMC is a
faculty-run mathematics lecture series intended for an undergraduate audience. Website.
The Putnam Pratice Sessions
Held on Tuesdays from 12:30-14:00 in MATH 103, these are a great way
to do some challenging math, eat pizza, and prepare for the Putnam. Website.
